He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorraine Lyons (Mikkelson) and Richard Rummer; his wife Patricia Janice Usiak; his stepfather James Lyons; and his siblings-in-law, Russell Eilers and Janet Rummer.
He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Rummer (Dick), Paula Eilers and Kay Jancek (Larry); his daughters, Christine Hren (Brian) and Catherine Rummer (Ed Daniel); his grandchildren, Madison Pobocik-Hren (James), Caleb Hren and Olivia Hren; and his close friend Rona Howell.
