He is survived by: his brother Slagle Farms; his wife Paula (Anderson); his children, Alison Karpinski (Matt), Jason Slagle (Jennifer) and Susan Steinbrecher (Jeff); his grandchildren, Alaina, Tyler, Trevor, Cody, Justin, Lauren, Ashley and Jeffrey; his brothers, Kenneth Slagle (Doris) and John Slagle (Teresa); and his sister-in-law Brenda Slagle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
