He was predeceased by: his parents, Tena Letson Voss and John Henry Voss; his wife Alma; his son Robert Gene; his parents-in-law, John and Pearl Hall; and his siblings, Farron (Ping), John (Doyle), Charles, Bob, Annie McClung, Gwendolyn Thompson and Christina Singleton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Maxine Vader and Christine Rhoads; his grandchildren, Christian Voss, Jerry Vader, Fred (Marci Randolph), Mark Vader (Ashley Nichole) and Ben (Amber Toomer); his great grandchildren, Angel Randolph, Jeremy Randolph and Levi Toomer; his great great grandchildren, Dakotah, Betty Voss, Evelyn Henry, Suzie Hall and Marge Hall; and also, Leon Seiter and Duane Mercer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
