He is survived by : his wife Julie Ann Scott; his children, Sarah M. Caci, Ryan Allan Oscar Makela, Bryen M. Scott and Julia K. Scott; his daughter-in-law Kelly Murphy (Jere); his grandchildren, Katelyn Scott and Jere Murphy, Jr.; and his siblings, Robert Scott (Pamela), Joyce Krachie, Allen Scott, Ronny Norton (Gina), Michelle Kwano (Gary) and Monique Martin (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“I remember Uncle Marty returning to MI after serving in the U.S. Air Force. Shortly thereafter he visited my family on a shiny new Honda 750-four. He gave me, my sisters and brother a ride. That ride, that motorcycle and our talks had a huge impact on me. I bugged my parent enough that they broke down and got me a motorcycle. I've had 20+ over the last five decades and have ridden all over the U.S. /world because of him. Thanks Uncle Marty for that experience and may God Bless you! Scott Egan”
