Lawrence C. Furlott Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence C. Furlott of Farwell, Michigan, who passed away on February 15, 2021 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lawrence C. Furlott to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his mother Jeanne Emeline Furlott; his wife Betty Furlott; his father Levi Charles Furlott; and his siblings, Rita Pemble, Marlene Curtis, Mathew Furlott (Sonny) and George Furlott.
He is survived by: his children, Carla (Randy Brown) of Clare, MI and Levi Wilfred Furlott of Farwell, MI.; his grandchildren, Kelli Butzin (Gary Linsea), Shannon Butzin (Brad Compo), Matthew Furlott, Amy Furlott and Brandi Furlott; his great grandchildren, Jordon Butzin (Courtney Gladish), Johnathan Cox, Hunner Linsea, Hiayah Linsea, Dylan Furlott, Ariana Whitehead, Noah Furlott, Adrian Dematteo, Mya Dematteo, Anthony Dematteo, Ryan Beatty, Layla Beatty and Maggie Beatty; his great great grandchildren, Sonya Butzin, Addy Butzin, Jaydon Butzin and Jenna Butzin; his niece Susie Hakola of Rudyard, MI; his nephew Dave Furlott of Marquette, MI; his sister Connie Mayer of Rudyard, MI.; and his friends, Marie Thompson, Peggy Coveyou, Alvino and Joyce Soto. He is also survived by grand kids, extended family members and friends.
Per Covid-19 guidelines and restrictions, and for the protection of Larry's family and friends in attendance, proper face coverings over both nose and mouth is required.
In lieu of flowers the family is suggesting donations be made to the two charities most dear to Larry and best summed up in the music piece of country singer Tom T. Hall…"Ain't but three things in this world that's worth a solitary dime, but old dogs and children and watermelon wine.
