It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Jean Shear of Farwell, Michigan, who passed away on March 15, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Cross and Myrtle Cross; her grandson Nicholas E. Shear; her siblings, Robert "Boots" Cross, Roland "Cork" Cross, MaryAnn "Mitze" Wineland, Virginia "Virgie" Beechler, Ronald "Buzz" Cross, Nancy "Deanie" Cross and Michael J. Cross; her niece Renee Wineland; and her nephews, Richard Cross, Charles Furman and James Furman.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Shear Jr. of Farwell, MI and Tammy Sanchez of Eastpointe, MI.; her grandchildren, Matthew Shear, Katie Shear, Abel Sanchez III and Alexander Sanchez; her great grandchildren, Ashlyn Raper and Nicholas A. Shear; her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Cross, Shirley Kinsey (Jay), Edith Beck (Jerry), Virginia Furman (David), Karolyn Cotter (Larry) and Marilyn Bauer (Donald); and her husband Donald. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
