It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet L. Hicks (Farwell, Michigan), who passed away on August 26, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard M. Everts and Emma L. Everts (Cook); her brother Lawrence Everts of Traverse City; and her stepgrandson Jeremy. She is survived by: her husband Norris C. Hicks; her children, Ralph of Iron Mountain, Steven (Sandy) of Clare, James (Ruanne) of Farwell, Lisa Spoelstra (Michael) of Olivet and Julia Morgan (Scott) of North Branch; her sister Marjean Torres (Everts) of Charlotte; her brothers-in-law, Rodger (April) of Clare and Flavious (Judy) of Farwell; and her grandchildren, Jodi, Brian, Sara, Clay, Eric, Sarah, Jaime, Marissa, Christopher, Hayden and Madison. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
