He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Monroe and Nanette Monroe (Paulus); and his sister Joan McMacken. He is survived by: his sister Yvonne McDowell (David) of Mt. Pleasant; his brother-in-law Harold McMacken of Howell; and his nieces and nephews, Jeff McDowell, Dean McMacken, Michael McMacken, Therese McMacken, Jenny Garth, Amy Seybert and DaJung Albus.
