He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Robert; his wife Luana Kay Bemis; his children, Yolanda "Andi" Kelly (Scott) of Denver, Wendy Bemis Woodhouse of Waterford, Donald Schuster of Farwell, Holly Bemis Gray of Florida, Michelle Schuster (Tracy) of Ithica and Robert Bemis of Pontiac, Michigan; his siblings, Ron Bemis (Linda) of Clarkston, Michigan, Dennis Bemis (Nancy) of Clarkston, Michigan, Douglas Bemis (Tammy) of Clarkston, Michigan and Susan Drubreuil (Jeff) of Port Huron; his son Gerald Steven Bemis; his grandchild Lukas Gendill; and his brother Robert Joseph Bemis. He was also cherished by 20 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
