He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Leyva and Victoria Leyva (Torres); his son Richard Leyva; his great grandchild Melissa; and his siblings, Merced, Francisco, Leonard, Santos, Adelina and Engracia.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Jeanette McGaughy; his children, Gail Leyva, Denise Leyva, Dan Leyva (Kim), David Leyva, Lenny Johnson, Johnny Johnson and Lori Johnson Hannigan; his daughter-in-law Rebecca; his grandchildren, Dallas, Danny, Dillon, Randy, Katelynn, Joseph, Justin, Christa, Johnny, Jason, Kyla, Miranda, Ashley and Jacob; his great grandchild Elijah; and his siblings, Aurelio Leyva, Lenora Leyva (Wilson) and Minerva Leyva.
