He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Chapman and Othea Chapman (Sperry); his brothers, Duane and Donald Chapman; and his grandson Jeremy Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Rhode; his daughters, Dawn Bourque (Joe) of Alma and Deanna Huffman (Dean) of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Hanus (Sam), Justin Chapman, Raelyn Pelon, Bryan Chapman (Madison), Braedon Chapman (Destine), Joel Chapman, Cassie Huffman of Big Rapids and Shannon Haywood of Alamogordo, NM; and his sisters, Ruth Maxon (Delton) of Edmore and Rolene Thomas (Jim Bennett) of Farwell. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren.
