He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Tipton, and Artie Tipton, Sr. (Wilson). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Verdon; his sons, Chuck Tipton (Nikki) and Jeff Tipton (Eva); and his grandchildren, Richard Peach (Amanda McCoy) of Clare, Shaneice Green (Jake) of Sanford, Kylee Donelson (Keegan Alexander) of Clare and Jimmy Tipton of Farwell.
