It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Anne Harp (Farwell, Michigan), born in Long Beach, California, who passed away on December 25, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald O'Brien and Marguerite O'Brien (Green); and her siblings, John O'Brien and Maureen Carson. She is survived by: her husband Larry Harp; her children, Joseph Palid, Jr. (Yessenia), Chris Palid, Nicole Ciesla (Jeff) and Michelle McCracken (Steve); her stepchildren, Matt Harp (Renee) and Morgan Harp; her grandchildren, Merik Whipple, Jenna Ciesla, Brett Ciesla, Trenton Ciesla, Brandon Palid, Giovanni Palid, Kealey Humphrey, Lauren Hennagir, Ayden McCracken, Ryan McCracken, Gavin Harp, Cassandra Palid and Chris Palid, Jr.; her great grandchild Merik Whipple, Jr.; and her nieces and nephews, Jessica Whitney (Jeff), Jenny O'Brien, Shawn Carson and Bridget Carson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .

“I learned of Carolyn's passing today. Roger and I were neighbors from Five Lakes. We are so very sorry for this tragic loss. We have only known Carolyn and Larry since they moved to Five Lakes but considered them good friends. She was such a kind person with a giving spirit. I am praying for the grace of God to hold you up when nothing else can. Kim and Roger Kushmaul”
