She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Rex and Birdie Mae Schade (Hillis); her husband Gerald Lassen; her sons, Edward, Warren "Bud", David, Donald and Parley Lassen; and her grandchildren, Eddie, Jeremiah Lassen and Tresa Barhitte.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Lassen (Donna) of Pennsylvania, Deb Stieg (Bill) of Mecosta and Mary Strong of Florida; her sister Betty (John Kehm) of Luling, LA; and her stepsister Carolyn Flaugher. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
