He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Trombley and Beulah Trombley; and his wife Margaret Trombley. He is survived by: his sister Linda Peckham (late Ralph); his sister-in-law Dorothy Netzley (late Jack); his nieces, Erika Peckham, Krista Arabo (Faris), Lori Saldivar (Robert) and Julie Bemben (Mike); his nephew James Netzley (Julie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jamison, Emmaline, Jonathan, Solene Arabo, Zach Bemben, Alex and Jessica Netzley; his girlfriend Barbara Cone; and his friend Jim Aymer (Carolyn).

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial donations to First United Methodist Church or to the Michigan Humane Society.
