He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Gilkes and Dorothy Gilkes; and his sister Diane Robinson. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his daughters, Alison Fayz and Kathleen Bigwood; his grandchildren, Madelyn Fayz, Matthew, Sarah and Emily Bigwood; his nieces and nephews, Rob (Tara) and Christie Robinson; his great-nephew Jack; his great-niece Zoey Robinson; and also Stephen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McCabe Funeral Home (31950 W 12 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48334). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
