He was predeceased by: his son Kevin; his parents, Louis and Mary; and his siblings, Mary Lou Pheney (Harry) and Patrick Matthews (Carol).
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Cheryl (Bradley Conkey), Ken (Judy) and Mark (Lisa); and his sister Rose Marie Held.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home (31950 W 12 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48334). The lying in state was held on Monday, August 26th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (4300 Walnut Lake Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48323). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, August 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
