He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sr. Cannon and Mary Cannon; his wife Sharyn Sloan; his parents-in-law, Maury and Lorraine Sloan; and his siblings, James Jr. (late Sally), Mary Patricia Connolly (late Robert) and Joseph.

He is survived by: his sister Martha Mulligan (late Robert); his sister-in-law Sharon Fishman (Mel); and his great-niece Kitty Smith. He is also survived by his loving companion for the past ten years, along with her dear children and grandchildren.
