She was predeceased by: her parents, Petrous Shafou and Rajjo Shafou; her son Jeffrey Bashi; and her siblings, Akram Shafou, Khelad Shafou, Clementine Shammas, Nazhat Yaldo, Betoul Mio and Ibraham Shafou.
She is survived by: her children, Jenifer Jameel (late Saif), Jason Bashi (Laura) and Jimmy Bashi (Samantha); her grandchildren, Cece, Sebastian, Sacastren, Jeffrey, Estella, Gabriella and Giselle; and her siblings, Amira Mamou and Suhaila Shafou.
