We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2025, at the age of 90, Rudolph P. Tucich Sr. (Farmington Hills, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Rudolph is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Rudolph's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his mother Mary K. Tucich; his wife Patricia; and his children, Maria, Rudy and Peter.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Noah, Luke, Ethan, Dareian and Darien.

“I have been thinking of the Tucich family recently and didn’t know that Rudy had passed on. I did some searching this evening and found a recording of his “52nd Street” show from WDET days. My dad (Bill Sayed) and I would listen to the show together, and it helped foster my love of jazz. My heart goes out to my cousins Maria, Rudy and Peter, and all of Rudy, Sr.’s grandchildren.”
