It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Michael McGrail of Farmington Hills, Michigan, who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William McGrail and Marie McGrail (Keane); and his brothers, Bill McGrail and Tim McGrail. He is survived by: his wife Terry McGrail; his children, John McGrail, Matthew McGrail (Jean) and Tammy Millard (Rusty); his grandchildren, Christina Morris (Brian), Craig Shooltz, Nick Shooltz, Aidan McGrail and Declan McGrail; his great grandchildren, Liam Morris, Aaryn Morris and Hunter Morris; his siblings, Dan McGrail (Sandy), Tom McGrail (Nancy), Jim McGrail (Linda), Maureen Philippart (Steve), Kathy Harning (Mark), Pat Fenn (Gary) and Colleen Cowher (Tim); and his sister-in-law Janet McGrail.

Memorials may be directed to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Wounded Warriors Project to honor Bob's life.

“To me he will always be "Bobby" since he was the kid down the street who became great friends with my brother Arthur. He often had a good wisecrack as a teenager and that grew into a wonderful dry wit as he matured. It has been many years since I have seen Bobby. I moved to Seattle 25 years ago, but I remember the times our paths crossed during my visits to Michigan. Bobby was a wonderful man, and the world is a little poorer without his presence. My sympathy goes out to the McGrail family.”
