He is survived by: his son Robert Llewellyn Miller Jr. (Sue Armstrong); his grandsons, Matthew Miller (Emily Jensen) and Andrew Miller (CaraMia Bertoni); and his great grandchildren, Mabel Miller and Hugo Miller.

His dedication earned him life memberships in several sheltie clubs, including the ASSA, CSSA, and the Shetland Sheepdog Club of Greater Detroit (SSCGD), where he was beloved for his contributions to the breed's community.
