She was predeceased by: her parents, Elaine Hoot and John Hoot; her husband James Shields; her grandson Jason Goulet; and her brother John Hoot (Mickey).
She is survived by: her children, Kirk Shields (Tricia Millstead), Dawn Lynn Bradley (Brian), Mark J. Shields (Natalie), Kari A. Atkins and Holly Shields; her grandchildren, Tyler, Lindsay Shields, Julie Lynn Goulet, Steven Smith II, Brian Bradley, Jr., Mark Shields, Jr., Nicolette, Jacqueline, James Shields, Daniel James, Sarah, Alyssa, Jack Atkins and William James Bradley; her great grandchildren, Jordan Gallo, Gianna, Sophia Baroli-Goulet, Zoee Mazzacco, Lawson, Nolan, Callan Stout and Giavanna Shields; and her boyfriend Dave Bonzcak.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home (31950 W 12 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48334). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
