He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Cook and Jeanette Cook; his father-in-law Seymour Shapiro; and his brother-in-law David Wiener. He is survived by: his wife Carol (Shapiro); his children, Adam (Jane McKenzie) and Stacey; his stepchildren, Bradley Manhoff and Jyll; his son-in-law Dr. Andrew Bender; his grandchildren, Jordan, Abby Manhoff, Luca and Maisie Bender; his siblings, Francie Cook and Jerry; his sister-in-law Barbara Cook; his mother-in-law Ethel Shapiro; and his sisters, Ellen (David Kirsch), Marilyn (William Kohen) and Kaye (Allen Weinberger). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
