He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alexander Machlay and Erlene Machlay; his spouse Laurie; his children, Mark Machlay (Rachel) and Megan Lui (Donovan); his grandchildren, Declan, Rory, Alice, Bryn and Cara; and his siblings, James Machlay (Claire), Joann Machlay, Thomas Machlay and Scott Machlay (Diane).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Thayer-Rock Funeral Home (33603 Grand River Ave, Farmington, MI 48335). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
