Margaret Louise Stack Obituary
Margaret 'Marge' Louise Stack passed away October 1, 2023 at the age of 80. She was the cherished daughter of the late Walter and late Josephine Stack and dear sister of the late Robert Stack. Marge leaves many loving and devoted friends.
Margaret was born on November 21, 1942 in Detroit to Walter and Josephine Stack. She attended and graduated from Mercy High School and continued her education at Mercy College, graduating with a bachelor's degree in science. While attending Mercy College, Marge met and became lifelong friends with several women, her Mercy Girls College Group, of which they would celebrate their 60th year of friendship this year.
Marge eventually found her way to Houston, working in public relations for the airline industry, reflecting her passion for travel. After several years, Marge made her way back to Michigan to care for her brother, Robert.
Marge was a world traveler, venturing out with her family and friends and she loved the holidays, decorating was a true passion of hers. She enjoyed being social and getting to know those around her, Marge never met a stranger. She was well loved and admired by her friends. Marge's social spirit and fun demeanor will be fondly missed.
The Visitation for Ms. Stack will be held Sunday, October 15th, from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary Service at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Road, Farmington Hills. She will lie instate Monday, October 16th, at 9:30 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Shrine Chapel of Orchard Lake, 3535 Indian Trail, West Bloomfield Township. Marge will be laid to rest at St. Hedwig Cemetery, 23755 Military Road, Dearborn Heights. Memorial Contributions may be made to Most Holy Redeemer Parish, 1721 Junction Avenue, Detroit in Margaret's name. There will be a luncheon to follow at The Henry Hotel in Dearborn.
