He was predeceased by: his siblings, James Slipson and Jill Meyers; his nephew Jason Meyers; and his parents, Irving Slipson and Sarah Slipson.

He is survived by: his close friend Debra Kahn; his sister Kay Levy (Stephen); his nephews, Brian Levy (Jan), Dan Levy and Mitchell Meyers (Alice); and his niece Joanna Stetner (Ethan).
