He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilfred Eckersley and Mildred Eckersley; his sister Mildred Eckersley Madden (William); his niece Dawn Lubeski (Jeff); his nephews, Brian Madden (Nicole) and Mark Madden (Rachael); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brett, Julie, Dylan Lubeski, Maribelle, Aidric, Ayla Mildred, Lexton, Aubrey and Lauchlin Madden. He was also cherished by many cousins and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kent's name are appreciated to the American Kidney Fund.
