He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Young and Emma Young; and his father-in-law Ben. He is survived by: his children, David Young (Keri) and Alison Weiner (Eric); his grandchildren, Evan Young, Remi Young, Ben Weiner, Max Weiner and Blake Weiner; his mother-in-law Blanche Klar; and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis and Allen Gantman. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
