It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Fay Cheney of Farmington Hills, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Warren and Asel Warren. She is survived by: her husband Mayo Cheney; her children, David (Anna), Daniel (Cindy), Jonathan (Jenny), Christopher and Melanie; her grandchildren, Daniel, Sonia, Scott, Connor, Jessica, Alex, Maxwell, Jack, Autumn, Jazmine and Skylar; her great grandchildren, Fox and Mateo; and her brother Frederick Warren. She is also survived by many extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Milford (404 E Liberty St, Milford Charter Twp, MI 48381).
Her contributions to the band were a testament to her dedication and love for the arts.
