She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Hier and Mary; her husband Henry Rose; her brothers, Michael and Daniel Hier; her sisters-in-law, Catherine and Marie; and her sister Ellen. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The lying in state will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Fabian Catholic Church (32200 W 12 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48334). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
