He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Powers and Lillian Powers; his wife Rosa; his children, Eric Powers, Cindy Medina (Albert), Jennifer Hunter (Garnie), Jason Powers and Sharon Evans; his grandchildren, Hunter Medina, Mason Medina, Alaina Rose Powers, Garnie Hunter III, Gavin Hunter, Gage Hunter and Lulu; his brother William Powers; his mother-in-law Concetta Russo; and his sister-in-law Anna Agge (John).
