He was predeceased by: his parents, Emile Benoit and Marie Benoit (Bernauer). He is survived by: his children, Michael Benoit, Joan Benoit (Andreana Clay), Steven Benoit (Megan) and Diane Frechette (Darren); his sister Marie Benoit; his grandchildren, Melissa Benoit, Jenna Strale (Rob), Matthew Benoit (Bridget), Jonathan Benoit (Nina), Charles Benoit, Otis Benoit-Clay, Brennan Benoit, Bailey Benoit, Madison Benoit, Mel Frechette, Tyler Frechette and Emilie Frechette; and his great grandchildren, Aidan, Maura, Declan, Saoirse, Peggy, Daniel, Sophia, Magdelina, Beatrice and Emerson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home (23720 Farmington Rd, Farmington, MI 48336). A rosary will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (23615 Power Rd, Farmington, MI 48336). A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
