She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent McGlynn and Elizabeth McGlynn. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Charlie" Kitz; her children, Alicia McSweeney (Bill) of Melrose, MA, Michael Kitz (Mary Fran) of Granger, IN, Brian Kitz (Kristi) of Commerce Township, MI and Carolyn Kitz of Mishawaka, IN.; and her grandchildren, Ryan McSweeney (Katie), Kara McSweeney (Arun), Lindsay Liber (Jimmy), Brendan Kitz (Lexie Pogaznik), Catherine Clark (Andrew), Megan Kitz and Claire Kitz.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Orchard Lake Chapel (3535 Commerce Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48324). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the University of Notre Dame Notre Dame.
