He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Waldecker; his daughter-in-law Shannon; his grandson-in-law René Waldecker Lall; and his brother Butch Waldecker. He is survived by: his wife Katherine A. "Kay" Bruckner; his close friend Ed; his sons, Edward and Russell (Shannon); his grandchildren, Andrew, Jason Lall, Devyn Socha (Phil), Keegan Waldecker, Alexandria and Michael Waldecker; and his sister Peggy Remillet-Sutton.
