He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jean Cohen and Edward Cohen; his brother-in-law Nathaniel Ackman (late Vivienne); his parents, Abraham Cohen and Anna Cohen; and his parents-in-law, Louis and Dorothy Ackman.

He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Cohen; his sons, Jeffrey Cohen (Marlene), Daniel Cohen (Cari) and Douglas Cohen (Allyson); his grandchildren, Aaron Ephlin, Jared, Jacob, Seth, Lacey and Tony Cohen; and his sisters-in-law, Molly Parro (Gary) and Mitzi Ashe (Michael). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and a world of friends.
