He is survived by: his friend Danny; his children, Julie Greenberg (Ronald Chaney), Jonathan Greenberg (Elana) and Elizabeth Greenberg (Eric Hall); his grandchildren, Benjamin Chaney, Isabel Chaney, Noah Greenberg, Zachary Greenberg, Lily Greenberg, Ethan Hall and Rebecca Hall; and his close friend Esther Liwazer.

“Dear Julie, Jonathan and Elizabeth and family - I just learned of Dan's passing and wanted the leave my deepest sympathy. Your mom Roz and dad Dan were wonderful neighbors of ours in Farmington Hills and we remained in contact after we moved to Northville. You mom and dad always had a treat for our two boys (now 23 and 27) hen we saw them and they were so dear to us. My heart is warm with memories and sad with their loss.
