It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christian Paul Daelemans Sr. (Farmington Hills, Michigan), who passed away on September 7, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Daelemans and Helen Daelemans; his wife Rita Hollnagel; his children, C. Paul Daelemans, Jr. (Renie), Kathleen Daelemans, Carol Gorelick (Marc) and Talitha Shamaly (Todd); his granddaughter Emily Daelemans; and his children, Erin Gorelick (Justin Dickerson) and Maya Gorelick. He was also cherished by the spouses of his children.

Paul and I worked together on several projects at Williams International. He was a very accomplished engineer. He became an important supporter of our Retiree Club volunteering for over 15 years as a Board member and participating in our reunions. We will miss his humorous handling of our traditional raffle. Peace be with you Paul.”

“Paul we lost track of you after Christmas of 2021 when we did not receive your annual Christmas note, nor your receiving our annual Christmas greeting newsletter. Paul you were a true and treasured friend. We met in the early 60’s when we worked together at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in West Palm Beach. One of the most memorable features of you Paul was your quick wit and ability to see humor in almost any situation no matter how mundane it might seem to others. Condolences to Rita and family,”

We had many laughs together going back to the time we sat next to each other when we both worked at Allison Division of General Motors. One morning, a few years later, I was so surprised and happy to find him walking into my office saying that he had joined Williams Research. To Rita and your family, I would like to express my most sincere condolences.”
