As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Barbara Jean may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Schmidt and Frances Schmidt (Baumgarten); and her husband Ibrahim "Abe" Madany. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Daily (Andrew) and Katherine "Kathy" Seflic; her grandchildren, Hannah Daily (Steven Anderson), Drew Daily, Jacob, Zachary and Luke Seflic; and her sister Betty Smith (David). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Farmington (26165 Farmington Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48334). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Memorial Ceremony First Presbyterian Church of Farmington (26165 Farmington Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48334).
