He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bert Armstead and Lovina Armstead (Chrispell); his spouse Shirley Masten; his children, Nancy Prince (Howard) of McBain, Bill Armstead, Jr. (Sherry) of Falmouth, Karen Taylor (Tom) of McBain and Mary Bruno (Dick) of McBain; his grandchildren, Lori Armstead, Ben Taylor, Clay Armstead, Hillary Chaffee, Heather Mason, Jennifer Purgiel, CJ Bruno, Garrett Prince, David Armstead, Ellen Talbott and Kelly Carter; and his parents-in-law, Jim Royer (Gloria) and Sandi Baker. He was also cherished by 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
