He is survived by: his children, Abby and Luke; his son-in-law Jim; his wife Gayle; his children, Abigail DeZeeuw (James), Lucas and Samuel; his grandchildren, Levi and Jesse DeZeeuw; his parents-in-law, Keith and Charlene VanHaitsma; his siblings, Steven Ebels (Kathy), Mark Ebels (Dawn) and Mary DeKam (Bruce); and his siblings-in-law, Vicki Ebels, Cinda Jessup (Tom), Craig VanHaitsma, Darla Baird (Dan), Kent VanHaitsma (Misty), Gwen VanderBoon (Jim), Sheri (Russ), Rodenbaugh and Kyle VanHaitsma (Tracey). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
