He is survived by: his parents, George Berkompas and Lois Berkompas (Hoekwater) of McBain; his wife Kimberly Ann Berkompas of Falmouth; his children, Jessica Shillings (Korbin) of Falmouth and Corey Berkompas (Elizabeth Kramer) of Falmouth; his stepsons, Nathan Tewsley of Reed City and Mike Otberg (Grace Breimayer) of Cadillac; his grandchildren, Corey Berkompas (CJ), Laramie Hoekwater, Rylie Hoekwater, Tessa Shillings and Jeffery Gross; his sisters, Marcia Berkompas of McBain and Cheryl Quist (John) of McBain; and his parents-in-law, Terry Stroh, Sherrie Feldheuser and Rebecca Stroh of Cadillac.
