He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Brinks and Anna Brinks; his daughter Dawn Brinks; and his siblings, Don Brinks, Ken Brinks and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Brinks of Falmouth; his children, Ron Brinks (Barb) of McBain and Kathy Lucas (Allan) of McBain; his grandchildren, Amberly Mejia (Manuel), Kenda Rivera (Reuben), Nick Brinks (Sarah), Riley Brinks (Madelyn), Lynae Gernaat (Tyler) and Dylan Lucas (Elise); his great grandchildren, Braelynn, Preslie Mejia, Hadley, Finley, Lakyn Rivera, Dawsyn and Mykenna Gernaat; his sister-in-law Joyce Koster (Ed) of Hudsonville; and his nieces, Lois Brinks of Montague and Ruth Brinks of Falmouth. He is also survived by his kids and grandkids.
