As Carolyn departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Carolyn. Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Yoder and Irene Yoder (Miller); and her husband Harry Gerber. She is survived by: her children, Wayne Gerber (Linda) of Fairview, MI, Elaine Gerber of Albion, IN and Dale Gerber (Janice) of Mio, MI; and her siblings, Rhoda Witmer (Aaron) and Jason Yoder (Doris). She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Fairview Conservative Mennonite Church. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
