He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Downing and Norma Downing (McLeod); and his niece Sara Schneider. He is survived by: his children, Casey Downing, Duane Downing, Jeremiah Downing (Ashlynn) and Alyssa Downing; his grandchildren, Payton Downing, Kahnyr Downing and Xavior Moore; and his siblings, Tina Ewald and Shawn Downing.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home (205 W Sherman St, Caro, MI 48723). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family will be present to receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the family wishes, c/o Alyssa Downing, 205 West Sherman Street, Caro, MI 48723.
