She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Schmitt; her parents, Norman Austin and Rose Austin; and her brother Jerry Austin. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Sommerfield and Milton Schmitt Jr.; her significant other Jennifer Hutchinson; her grandchildren, Sarah Sommerfield, Travis Sommerfield, Leslie Hutchinson and Megan Hutchinson; her siblings, Sue Austin, Larry Fritz (Robin Austin) and Carol Fritz; and also Michael Schmitt.
