He was predeceased by: his brothers, Ludwig (Marie) and Rudolf. He is survived by: his former wife Mariel Pleiss; his brother Harold (Margaret); his sister-in-law Sharon; and his nieces and nephews, Deborah, John (Lynn), Anne, Elisabeth (John), Catherine, Michael and Victoria (Justin). He is also survived by 8 great nieces and nephews.
