He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd "Tuffy" Solomon and Fritzie Solomon; his daughter Mary Solomon; his wife Sharon Solomon; and his siblings, Lloyd, Leo, June, Del, Harry and Mark.
He is survived by: his sister Carol Rekar; and his children, Steven Solomon (Tracy), Michael Solomon (Melissa) and Amy Vernier (Joseph). He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
