He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Violet; and his sisters, Carol Pearcy, Patricia Henson, Roberta Brown and Cynthia Vernier.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Sharon Miller (David), Robert T. (Darlene) and Daniel (Aimee); and his siblings, Nancy Sommers (Stan), Thomas McCoy (Marsha) and Joyce Stroman (David). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
