He was predeceased by: his parents, George Herman and Myrtle Bell Scheer (Newberry); his siblings, Charles Scheer, Geri Guiney and Gloria Morgan; and his daughter Kathleen Alcorn.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Georgette Delockroy (Mike), Constance Uppleger (Lee) and Mike Scheer (Dawn); and his stepchildren, Michelle Schwinck (Scott) and Chris Vandenbossche (Kelly). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
